Clean Sport In 2008, Jeremiah began a partnership with the United States Anti Doping Agency to encourage all athletes to take a stand for clean sport. The initiative, "My Health. My Sport. My Victory...I Compete Clean" is aimed at building a broader platform for U.S. athletes to take a stand for clean and ethical competition.
In addition to representing his industry trade team, Jeremiah is a twelve-time member of the USA Cycling National Team, which represents the USA at international competitions including Continental and World Championships, and the Pan American Games. On seven occasions, Jeremiah has lead the US National Team, producing the team’s highest achievement of the competition, including his gold medal winning performance in the 2003 Pan American Games and his eighth place finish at the 2006 World Championships, which remains the highest placing of any US male at World Championships in over 13 years. In recent years, Jeremiah has emerged as the country's leading endurance mountain bike racer.
In 2010, with Cannondale Factory Racing, Jeremiah extended his reign as the most dominant mountain bike stage racer in the US, with victories in all of the country's major stage races: TransSylvania Mountain Bike Stage Race, Breck Epic and Pisgah Mountain Bike Stage Race. Meanwhile, Jeremiah continued to have a strong presence on the XC and Marathon racing scenes with wins in the US Cup Triple Crown XC, Short track and Marathon Events. Internationally, Jeremiah was victorious in the UCI Copa Cannondale event in Chile.
In 2009, Jeremiah joined the MonaVie-Cannondale.com team in its quest to tackle epic racing around the world. His victories include stage races, cross country and short track events, 100-mile epics, and even a 12-hour event.
The 2008 USA National Marathon Mountain Bike Champion, Jeremiah excels in long-distance racing. He has won numerous endurance and "ultra" events including the Firecracker 50, the American Mountain Classic stage race, the Fools Gold 100, the Wilderness 101, and the Offroad Assault on Mt Mitchell. He is a multi-time winner of the Shenandoah Mountain 100, a National Ultra Endurance Series classic, which takes place near his hometown of Harrisonburg, Virginia.
Also the 2008 USA National Short Track Champion, Jeremiah is quite possibly the most versatile racer and a star on the national scene. In 2008, his victories include cross-country, marathon, short track, stage races and ultra-endurance events.
In 2007, Jeremiah enjoyed six podium finishes in the USA National Championship Series, including a victory in the NMBS cross-country Showdown at Sugar at Banner Elk, NC. Jeremiah won the silver medal in the USA National Championship cross country race at Mount Snow, Vermont.
In 2006, Jeremiah's domestic results earned him the number one rider ranking published by USA Cycling, and lead his team to its position as number one in the US National Mountain Bike Series. This achievement highlights Jeremiah’s combined successes in cross-country, short track and marathon distance cycling events.
